Node.js in Shared Website Hosting
If you host a web application on our avant-garde cloud website hosting platform and you would like to try Node.js, you’ll be able to add it to your account regardless of the shared website hosting plan that you use. This can be done from the Upgrades section in the Hepsia Control Panel and you will be able to take advantage of Node.js in no more than a couple of minutes after you add this upgrade to your account. You will be able to choose how many instances you would like to add to your account – one instance means that one application will be using Node.js. In the new section that will show up in the Control Panel, you can indicate the path to the .js file in your web hosting account and select if that file will be reachable through the shared IP of the physical server or via a dedicated one. Our platform will also allocate a port for the connection. You’ll be able to shut down or to restart each instance independently, if required.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Hosting
With a semi-dedicated server from us, you can use all the benefits that the Node.js platform has, because it’s comes with all our semi-dedicated plans and you’re able to add it to your semi-dedicated account with a couple of clicks from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel – the semi-dedicated account management tool that comes with each and every semi-dedicated server. If you wish to employ Node.js for different Internet applications, you can select the amount of instances which the platform will use when you’re adding this feature to your plan. After that, you’ll have to indicate the location of the .js file in your semi-dedicated account for each instance. You can do this in the new section that will show up in the Hepsia Control Panel after you add the upgrade and in the meantime, you can also choose whether the path to the specific app should go through a dedicated IP address – if you’ve got one, or through the physical server’s shared IP address. Each instance that you order can be restarted or stopped independently and you can check the output of your apps with just several mouse clicks.
Node.js in VPS Web Hosting
All VPS web hosting that are ordered with our custom-made Hepsia hosting Control Panel include Node.js by default and you can take full advantage of this event-driven platform for any web-based application that you host on the VPS. Since we have not imposed a limitation on how many instances you can get, you can make full use of the power of our VPSs and mix it with the full capacity of the Node.js platform. The setup is done through the Hepsia Control Panel’s easy-to-use, point & click GUI, so even if you are not technically experienced, you will not experience any difficulties while using the platform. You’ll simply have to enter the directory path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to choose whether it will use a shared or a dedicated IP. What’s more, our system will also select a port number to access the file and you’ll be able to see it in the corresponding Control Panel section. With just one click of the mouse, you’ll be able to view your applications’ output and to cancel or to reboot any instance hosted on the server.
Node.js in Dedicated Servers Hosting
If you decide to order one of our Linux dedicated servers hosting for your script-powered applications and if you select the Hepsia Control Panel on the order page, you will be able to use Node.js at no extra charge, as this platform is included in our custom-developed tool. Since our dedicated servers are quite powerful, you’ll enjoy superb results even if you run a lot of Node.js instances at once. The configuration takes several clicks and the Hepsia Control Panel’s interface will make it amazingly easy for you to create a new instance even if you have little or no previous experience. Entering the path to the .js file and choosing a dedicated or a shared IP will be everything that you will have to do on your end and once our system has set a port to access the .js file, you will be all set. Any of the Node.js instances that you have activated can be restarted or stopped independently and you will be granted with access to an exhaustive output log for each of the apps that use the Node.js platform.
